Chiropractor Carrie Oleston D.C.
From the time she was a teenager, Dr. Oleston not only had a strong interest in sports, exercise, nutrition, and natural health, but she was also considering a career in health care. Dr. Oleston first learned of chiropractic in college when she was looking for care for runner’s knee and shin splints. Dr. Oleston knew she had found the perfect niche when she discovered the philosophy and healing techniques that underpin chiropractic care. She learned that the human body has a natural ability to heal itself, and that by using preventive care, we can improve our health, prevent disease, and live more active lives.
Dr. Oleston went on to pursue a career as a chiropractic physician in order to provide a natural health care alternative for others. Her holistic approach to health care has led her to develop an in depth focus on chiropractic and acupuncture.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Oleston completed her doctoral degree in 2003 at Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She furthered her post-graduate studies with a certification in Acupuncture and advanced certification in Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology. She is also certified in the Webster Technique, a specific analysis and adjustment used for pregnant mothers.
As a wife and a mother, Dr. Oleston understands the stresses that families face on a regular basis.
Dr. Oleston is an active member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
